Kamela Hutzley, Writer and Editor

Kamela is a seasoned writer and editor hailing from the wilds of New Jersey. Currently residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she writes and edits content for International Citizens Group on topics such as health, education, travel, and cultural integration. She has also researched and edited blogs, books, and magazines, and created content for travel, gaming, and health websites.

Kamela has previously lived in Ontario, Quebec, Massachusetts, Washington, DC, California, and London. She has also visited 30 of the 50 United States and spent time in Jamaica, France, Spain, the UK, Ireland, Greece, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands.

In addition to holding an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College in Boston, MA, Kamela is a certified somatic therapist and runs her own practice. She enjoys sharing her expert knowledge of mental health and the body with our readers. When she’s not working, she likes to spend her free time singing, doing theatre, rock climbing, and writing fiction.
